Walz Maintenance has an excellent record for successfully executing shutdowns, including the complete dismantling of major plant items through to recommissioning. By collaborating with our customers in pre-planning stages we ensure a successful conclusion to each shutdown. Having undertaken major shutdowns across Australia, we have developed an extensive database of highly skilled trades and supervisory personnel who regularly work for us and who are accustomed to working in the shutdown environment. With safety as the number one priority, our experienced shutdown managers and their teams have established a reputation for bringing plants back to full operation, on time and within budget.

• We have a highly skilled pool of staff across several levels of expertise and experience as well as senior project members who have worked on several major and successful outages.
• In addition to having staff with specific outage experience, we have teamed in alliance with Walter Mining to ensure we deliver necessary experience in all underground long wall moves and upgrade projects that may fall under this contract.

• Our experience with outages has seen us work on some of QLD’s larger projects requiring a range of diversified outcomes including NRG, Anglo Coal field maintenance contract - Callide Mine and Boundary Hill and the Dalrymple Bay out loading upgrade.
