All Walz Maintenance team members are blue card inducted, familiar with site-specific inductions and experienced in working on shift rotations for contract durations. Long-team contracts and relationships with many Queensland sites mean we are fluent with mining and site codes of behaviour and safety expectations. This, together with our policy of employing and retaining tradesmen who are heavy industry experienced, is what gives our team the edge in competing for and satisfying maintenance contracts.

The Walz Maintenance team is fully trade qualified and experienced in heavy industry responsive and preventative maintenance. Our fitters, boilermakers, piping specialists, coded welders and electrical and instrumentation tradesmen are renowned for their diagnostic and workmanship skills.
